Non alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is the condition in which inflammation takes place in the liver due to the accumulation of fat in it. NASH is actually a part of a number of liver diseases known as Non alcoholic fatty liver disease.
In the condition of Non alcoholic fatty liver disease, accumulation of fat takes place for a longer period of time. This accumulation ultimately result in the damaged liver.
