Yoga Exercises For The Neck
Sometimes your neck tends to become stiff. To avoid such a situation, always do some exercises for the neck everyday to release the tension.
Repeat these yoga exercises 3 to 5 times to increase flexibility and tone the muscles. Face your shoulders forward. Do these exercises slowly and keep your spine straight.
- Bend your head back. Then bend it forward and touch your chin to the chest.
- Bend your head on the right side and touch your right ear to right shoulders. Do the same with your left ear and left shoulders.
- Stand in an erect position facing forward. Keep your head and shoulders erect, and turn your neck all the way to the right. Then turn your neck to the center and come back to the starting position. Then turn your neck all the way to the left and back to the starting position.
- Drop your head forward and roll it around as wide a circle as possible. Repeat the same in the opposite direction.
