Home Remedies for Morning Sickness
Morning sickness is a common problem during pregnancy, and research studies show that around 60-80 percent of pregnant women suffer from morning sickness. Morning sickness means nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. These symptoms occur mostly during the morning times, but they can also occur in the daytime. It is most common during the first trimester, but sometimes remain even till last trimesters.

- Chemical changes in the body
- Hormonal changes or hormonal imbalance
- Sensitive gastrointestinal tract
- Vitamin B deficiency

The following are the easiest and most effective home remedies for morning sickness
- Drinking ginger tea early in the morning can help reduce morning sickness.
- Before going to bed take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one tablespoon of honey in cold water.
- Take one teaspoon limejuice, one teaspoon mint juice, and one tablespoon sugar three times in a day.
- Do not keep your stomach empty. It is advised to take six small meals a day rather than three large meals.
- It is better to avoid fried and fatty foods.
- Include good amount of vitamin B and calcium in your diet.
- Eat snacks with high protein levels before going to bed.
- Take foods rich in protein and complex carbohydrates.
- Drink wheat germs dissolved in warm milk, a few teaspoons after every hour.
Apart from all the above, taking enough fresh air and rest are important to reduce morning sickness.
