- Even if the threshold has not been reached to take depression tablets, many college students are yet resorting to them
- Many take it for “improved self”, better than original self. Even for mild social and general anxiety, anti-depressants are being prescribed
- They are being used to improve concentration, focus and alertness. These stimulants are being used for recreation and to work more efficiently
- Students take such stimulants to stay up late in order to study
- Many go in for the therapeutic effects such as improved mood, better social functioning, more energy, better sleep and to reduce obsessive thinking
Anti-depressants have become the solution to all problems. People are taking it for various psychological conditions. Trying it out the natural way is being substituted by the “pill culture”.
