Effect Of Sugar On Immune System:
There are too many evidences that sugar has a negative effect on the immune system. When the WBC comes in contact with the higher levels of sugar in the blood their effeciency decreases greatly. This means that the effeciency of the white blood cells to engulf the bacteria decreases and this inturn decreases the resistance of the body to fight with that particular disease also.
The normal level of sugar in the blood stream must be one tea spoon.Whereas when we have one cup of ice cream or a can of soda we take in nearly 12 tea spoons of sugar. So, the blood stream faces a lot of problem when this much of amount of sugar enters all of a sudden.
The digestive system has to work really hard in digesting it.It produces insulin in large quantity to process this sugar. Some of the refined carbonates found in baked cakes, bread carry sugar in good quantity. These carbonates do not have nutrients, fibers etc in them but are rich in sugar.
These types of foods satisfy your jink for good food but do not give any thing good to your food just as whole grains and fruits carry. Therefore, it is suggested that to go fruits, juices which are less sweetened. then you must include grains, and other proteinladen foods in your diet.
