Bird Flu Confirmed in Northern Egypt
There are some cases of household poultry in the Egyptian city of Alexandria, that have tested positive for the H5N1 virus, a government statement said.
The Egyptian Ministry of Health has already sent teams to cull the infected birds along with veterinary services and police. And the people who have been in direct contact with the infected poultry are also undergoing medical tests.
