Cure for Snoring
Snoring, can sound funny in a discussion. But if your partner is found snoring, it is far from funny. Snoring can also mean that there is a problem that needs to be sorted out. But before we know tips that can help reduce snoring, here is why snoring might occur:
Snoring sound is caused when the air movement during respiration is obstructed. The obstruction can be due to:
• Fat gathered in and around the throat.
• Throat weakness, resulting in tense throat muscles which might disposition the jaw.
• Obstruction or swelling in the nasal passage. (Now you know why people snore when they have cold.)
• Extremely relaxed muscle tone of your tongue and soft palate.
• Your sleeping position that affects the way respiratory structures are positioned.
• Age which reduces the usually strong tone of muscles in your tongue and soft palate.
Snoring is not a favorite habit with anyone and by taking a few things into consideration you can avoid snoring:
• Cut fat – Fat from throat can easily be reduced as compared to removing it from entire body. Your general exercise routine should involve throat exercises which will result in reducing the fat pressing your throat.
• Reduce Smoking. Smoking weakens and clogs the throat. The lesser you smoke, the clearer your throat.
• Avoid Alcohol. Alcohol relaxes your soft tissues and muscles. So cut down on your drinks, more so at nights.
• Sleeping on your side ensures that your tongue doesn’t block the airway.
For some people snoring can be due to a biological blockade that had grown to block the airway. In such cases you need to consult a doctor and undergo a proper medical treatment.
