Treatment of Eczema

  • Safflower oil

    – It has been found that the lack of linoleic acid in the body can cause eczema. Safflower oil, being rich in this acid is beneficial in eczema treatment. Take 2 tbsp of safflower oil daily to treat eczema. Reduce the quantity to 1 tbsp if the condition is improved.

  • Blackstrap molasses

    – Take 2 tbsp of molasses twice daily with a glass of milk. It will take around two weeks to see the improvements. Molasses have very high nutritive properties.

  • Wheat grass

    – Apply the wheat grass juice over the affected region and also drink 50 ml of the juice twice per day. This juice acts as a natural antiseptic.

  • Boil some leaves of

    neem

    and wash the affected region with this decoction.This decoction is very helpful in treating eczema.

  • Mix

    coconut oil

    with a little piece of camphor. This oil can also be applied on the affected region. This is a good home remedy for eczema.

  • Apply

    turmeric paste

    on the affected skin or take ½ tsp of turmeric powder with milk. This is one of the effective natural remedies for eczema.

  • Boil some coconut oil with a

    few garlic cloves

    . After the oil gets cooled, filter it. Apply this oil on the affected region about two to three times per day. This is another good eczema remedy.

    Helpful Measures for Eczema

  • Sunbathing is beneficial as it kills harmful bacteria. It should be resorted to early in the morning at the first light of dawn.
  • A light mud pack applied over the eczema affected areas is very beneficial in the treatment of acute eczema.
  • Cold compress is also very beneficial in the treatment of acute eczema.
  • Hot compress or hot fomentation should be applied over the affected areas for 20 minutes in case of chronic eczema.
