Flatulence is a common problem which affects everyone at some point of time.
Flatulence causes
a lot of discomfort if flatus is present in excessive amount.
When excessive gas gets accumulated in the stomach and intestines, then the body expels these gases through the rectum. This expulsion of gases through the rectum is known as flatulence.
When too much gas is present in the stomach and intestines, then the person feels very uncomfortable and he passes wind for getting relief.
Causes of Flatulence

- Bacteria in the large intestine ferment the undigested carbohydrates and produce gases.

usually cause excessive gas in the stomach. For example, brown rice and baked beans can cause flatulence.

- Complex sugars present in the beans can’t be digested by the intestines, so they cause flatulence. As a result, the person passes gas throughout the day.
- Intestinal gas is formed by the fermentation of undigested carbohydrates.
- Foods with fat and protein cause less gas and foods with high carbohydrates cause more gas.

is one of the major flatulence causes. People suffering from this condition usually feel bloated after drinking milk and tend to pass large amounts of gas.
