  • This Device was developed by Dr.Robert Jervik.
  • In 1982, Dr.Barney Clark, a Seattle dentist,was the first person to get the Jarvik 7 implanted.The surgery was done by American Surgeon Dr.William DeVries.
  • Though Dr.Clark died after living 112 days because of multiple organs failure,the device was found to work perfectly.
