Catch Up on Some Sleep to Stay Healthy and Fit

Sleep is very precious to health but research claims that one in three Irish people are getting less than 6 hours of sleep every night. About 500 people took part in this survey from Dublin, Galway, Cork and Limerick. The research also went onto to assert that about 32% of the Irish population aged between 26-45 years experience less than 3 hours of sleep each night and 23% getting the recommended amount of 8 hours sleep. In addition, the research also revealed that men were not getting half as much as the amount of sleep women were getting.

The revelations of the study also confirmed that older generation of people aged between 36-55 years were losing out on sleep than those aged between 26-35 years. This is a clear indication of the fact that people in their mid-careers earning the bread for other members of the family are the ones’ neglecting sleep to the maximum.
