1. Hot water for itches: Moderate itching, from a mild case of poison ivy without blisters or a mosquito bite can be treated with a hot water application. The water should be hot enough to be slightly uncomfortable but not so hot that it burns. You can also let hot-water tap run for a few minutes, to give relief.
2. Vinegar for fungus: Take one part vinegar to 2 parts warm water and soak the infected nails in it for atleast 15 to 30 minutes daily.
3. Coffee for asthma: If you don’t have any medicines handy to deal with an asthma attack, 2 or 3 cups of strong coffee can provide the much-needed benefit on a short-term basis, by opening up the airways.
