1. Exercise And Use A Pedometer:

One way to gain energy is to move more. You should exercise early in the morning and take a walk. wear a pedometer to see how many steps you have taken. When you exercise, your heart rate increases and you take in more oxygen. Your metabolism speeds up and the levels of serotonin, a feel-good brain chemical rise.

2. Go A Little Green:

Hey we mean drink some green tea, it’s much better than coffee and other tea. It does not contain as much caffeine as coffee and provides you with antioxidants.

3. Eat A Proper Diet:

People who eat a high fibre diet, particularly for breakfast feel more alert throughout the day. Eat a well balanced diet that provides you with all the essential nutrients and never skip your breakfast. You are what you eat and that applies to your brain too. And drink plenty of water.

4. Take Brain Breaks:

Working at desk all day long can be exhausting and tiring. Frequent breaks provide an energizing fix. Take short breaks between your work, to relax and get back your energy levels.

5. Be A Single Tasker:

If you focus on one thing at a time, you can do more in less time. Doubling up on activities can create a vicious circle. You do too much work, get tired easily, get even less done, making you feel more stressed and tensed.

6. Listen To Music:

Play your favorite track and let your mind be free from the usual chores for sometime. Music soothes and relaxes your mind, so go ahead, let the music move you.

7. Sleep For 8 Hours every night:

When you get proper sleep, your brain works better and you can concentrate on your work properly. If you sleep less, you will feel dizzy and lazy all day long. So sleep for 8 hours peacefully every night.

8. Connect With Those You Count:

Spend some time with your family and friends everyday. Go out for dinner, watch movies, do some shopping, or just roam around, to get fresh air. All these things will pep you up. Talk to your friends on the phone regularly.

9. Clear The Clutter:

Clear all the clutter and excess baggage from your life and your home. Clean your room, organize your desk or closets, and live in a tidy environment. This gives a jumpstart to your mood. Also remove the emotional baggage by forgetting all your problems, past relationships that went bad and all that hurts you. Your mind needs to be free from clutter as well. Focus on your work and think of ways to make your life better.

10. Think positive and good thoughts:

When you feel love and compassion, your brain connects well and responds better. Emotions play a strong role in mental acuity and alertness.
