Today, Planned Parenthood in Brattleboro will be offering pills to women free of cost. Anyone under the age of 18, will have to sit with a practitioner to discuss the use of the drug. And this consultation will also be free today.
The pill is officially available over the counter at local pharmacies, but Planned Parenthood will be handing out free emergency contraception pills all day today. It is giving away the pills today, to sort of ‘kick off’ the wide availability of the drug and provide general awareness to the public.
The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on December
