1. Apples:

Apples contain fibre, antioxidants and fruit flavonoids. Apples have anti-inflammatory as well as anti-cancer actions. They reduce blood cholesterol levels, counter constipation and diarrhoea, and help joint problems. Apples are also good for the brain. Apples assist in secretion of digestive juices that is why it is recommended to eat apples 20-30 minutes before meal.

2. Apricots:

Apricots are rich in the antioxidant beta-carotene and iron and potassium. It helps regulate blood pressure and is also high in soluble fibre, which helps maintain regular bowel function.

3. Bananas:

Fresh, ripe bananas are a good source of fruit sugars and can give a quick energy boost. Bananas are a rich source of potassium and vitamin B6. They also help maintain good bowel health and are very good in case of gastrointestinal tract diseases. Bananas help to maintain blood sugar levels and is easily digested. Ripe bananas are good while green bananas can do harm to your health.

4. Cherries:

Cherries contain a powerful antioxidant called anthocyadin. Cherries relieve gout if at least 225 g are eaten daily. They also have a mild laxative action.

Pomegranate is very good for the liver in case of hepatitis, spleen diseases, cough and aches in breast. It is good for the complexion, cleans the voice incase of cough and develops tendency to corpulence.

11. Pears:
