This is a traditional Japanese treatment that releases tension and increases circulation through therapeutic pressure on the energy lines. In this kind of massage, pressure is applied with the thumbs and palms to the areas of the body that are used in acupuncture.
This massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure on the bodyâ€™s energy lines to relieve muscle and joint tension, increase flexibility and balance the bodyâ€™s energy. It uses gentle compression, acupressure on specific energy lines, warm herbal compresses and rhythmic stretching. This is not recommended for first timers.
This massage makes use of gentle circular motions on the pressure points to release toxins from the body.
